Would that they did
And so irrespective of grand gestures and what not, what a woman is truly looking for is some sort of sign that indicates normalcy can actually occur with any given potential mate --- not boring-ness or complacency, but normalcy, stability, foundation-building behavior and actions.
We all love to swoon, me perhaps most of all, but frankly if we do not have something to stand on to build something that will last --- what are any of us doing? Praying to stars. And the stars never listen.
Would that men did.

Seriously. Is it so hard to be relatively stable and normal, along with dashing, cute, manly and protective? I don't even wanna start on intelligence and self assuredness...
i guess that's the chupacabra
What's normal? really define it? you to Sybil, as for the rest you pretty much defined moi, except for cute, i may be many things but no man wants to be cute.
when i say 'normal' i really do mean stable. dependable. steady. as opposed to drama filled, or overly romanticized to the detriment of the practical.
and cute isn't so bad. handsome is far better, however.
Well then i guess if normal means stable and dependable i may well be the definition of normal, women have always seemed to like the fact i'm like a rock, that while shit falls apart around me i seem to somehow remain calm and handle things, i'm not much for drama, though i'm a hopeless romantic but that stays locked in my head... as for handsome i'm surely not that, unless of course one finds urban lumberjacks handsome.
urban lumberjack? well of course i'm intrigued now.
